USMLE® Step 2 Review Course

The Review Course is organized into 18 sections based on the USMLE Content Outline, giving you a structured path through the clinical knowledge tested on Step 2 CK. Each section contains 7 question-based levels that develop both medical knowledge and clinical reasoning.

Each section contains 7 levels of USMLE-style questions. Levels 1–3 involve one dependent reasoning step, Levels 4–6 require two, and Level 7 uses three-step reasoning chains. The knowledge difficulty varies independently within these groups, so the level reflects the structure of the reasoning as well as the knowledge demands of the question. 

Reasoning complexity reflects how many conclusions you need to connect to reach the final answer—for example, moving from a clinical presentation to a diagnosis and then to the appropriate management decision. Knowledge difficulty describes how challenging the facts, distinctions, or clinical nuances are within questions requiring a similar number of reasoning steps.

The structured levels are designed to help you identify whether you missed a fact, an intermediate conclusion, or the connection between them.
